Triangle Change Purses

Every Monday for the last while, two adorable egg ladies deliver cartons of fresh brown eggs to my door. I wanted to give them a little something for Christmas, and my husband suggested change purses since they always seem to walk away with the money in their hands. Following this tutorial for triangle bags, I made these two purses up. I may have to make one for myself.

We enjoyed a screening of the musical Irving Berlin’s Holiday Inn at a local Cineplex recently. It’s about as close as I’ll get to Broadway anytime soon.

You Need to Laugh: Dog’s Life

I remember watching The Carole Burnett Show when I was a kid. My favourite sketch is “Went With the Wind”. Not a swear word or off colour reference to be found. I love seeing them trying not to laugh.

Musical Monday: It’s Time to Say Goodbye (It really Is)

After reading Marie Kondo’s inspiring books about tidying up, I have been hard at work clearing clutter from all the ‘categories’.  The most recent has been the kitchen stuff and horse tack. This song went through my head as I work. I’m ambivalent about Sarah Brightman’s voice. A little sweeter than I like perhaps, said the person with the three-note range. Nevertheless, I like me some Bocelli on a Monday morning.
